EATING EGGS WITH VEGETABLES CAN IMPROVE VITAMIN ABSORPTION

Sometimes one food can improve the nutrition value of another food when eaten together. And now according to research from Purdue University adding whole eggs to a colourful salad can increase the amount of vitamin E the body absorbs from the vegetables. Other good sources of vitamin E, which has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, include oil, seeds and nuts.

CINNAMON HELPS BALANCE BLOOD SUGAR

If you are thinking of studying something new this autumn a sprinkle of cinnamon on your morning porridge could help to keep you focussed. The reason? According to a recent US study, eating this spice  (which is also thought to help stabilise blood sugar levels) can help boost the neurological and cognitive processes involved in learning ability.
