New research from Warwick University shows that going on a course of cognitive behavioural therapy - which encourages you to talk and think about your pain in a different way - can help improve symptoms of back pain. If you decide to go down the talking therapy route you might also like to try the herbal remedy devil’s claw, which research shows can help relieve pain and in some cases improve mobility.
