R is for Rhodiola

If you are taking part in this year’s London Marathon (25 April) or another running or sporting event in the summer listen to this. Recent research carried out at the University of Rome showed that supplementing with Rhodiola rosea helps performance. The research also showed that build-up of lactic acid in the muscles – a cause of muscle injury – was reduced by Rhodiola.
